The Los Angeles Lakers are on the road on Thursday night as they travel to take on the Miami Heat in an interconference showdown.
Los Angeles enters Thursday’s contest with a 44-25 record after defeating the Houston Rockets on the road on Wednesday night.

Luka Doncic led the way for the Lakers in Wednesday’s victory as he ended the game with 40 points, nine rebounds and 10 assists while LeBron James recorded 30 points and five rebounds.
Now Los Angeles will try to extend their winning streak to eight games on Thursday as they face off against the Heat in a tough road matchup.
On the other side, Miami enters Thursday’s game with a 38-31 record after losing on the road to the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday night.

In Tuesday’s loss to the Hornets, Tyler Herro led the way for the Heat as he recorded 20 points, eight rebounds and five assists while Norman Powell added 17 points, six rebounds and three assists of his own.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Lakers Injury Report: Will Luka Doncic, LeBron James Play?
For the Lakers, they have four players listed on their injury report, including Doncic, James and Austin Reaves.

Los Angeles has listed Doncic as questionable due to right hip soreness and he is in danger of missing his first game since Feb. 12.
If Doncic is sidelined, Marcus Smart and Luke Kennard could both be in line for inceased roles.
The Lakers have also listed James as questionable due to left foot arthritis and he is in danger of missing his first game since March 10.

If James is sidelined, Rui Hachimura and Jake LaRavia could both have larger roles on Thursday.
Reaves has also been listed as questionable and he is in danger of missing his first game since Feb. 10 due to a right forearm contusion while Maxi Kleber remains sidelined while recovering from a lumbar back strain.
Heat Injury Report: Will Bam Adebayo, Andrew Wiggins Play?
On the other side, the Heat have four players listed on their injury report, including both Bam Adebayo and Andrew Wiggins.

Miami has listed Adebayo as probable due to right calf tightness and he is expected to return on Thursday after missing Tuesday’s loss to the Hornets.
The Heat have listed Jaime Jaquez Jr. as questionable due to left hip tightness and he is in danger of missing his first game since Jan. 17.
If Jaquez Jr. is sidelined, Simone Fontecchio and Kel’el Ware could both be in line for increased roles.

Wiggins has been ruled out due to a left toe injury as he will miss his seventh straight game while Terry Rozier remains away from the team.
