Final Injury Report for Fever-Wings: Will Kelsey Mitchell, Azzi Fudd Play?

The Indiana Fever are on the road Thursday night as they travel to take on the Dallas Wings in an interconference showdown.

Indiana enters Thursday’s game with a 24-12 record after defeating the Toronto Tempo on the road Tuesday night.

In Tuesday’s victory over the Tempo, Kelsey Mitchell led the way for the Fever as she recorded 29 points and three rebounds while Caitlin Clark added 24 points, three rebounds and seven assists of her own.

The Fever will try to grab another victory and extend their winning streak to six games Thursday as they face off against the Wings in a tough road matchup.

Dallas enters Thursday’s contest with a 20-16 record after losing on the road to the Golden State Valkyries Monday night.

Paige Bueckers led the way for the Wings in Monday’s loss as she ended the game with 21 points and three assists while Arike Ogunbowale recorded 17 points, four rebounds and three assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night’s matchup, each may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Fever Injury Report: Will Kelsey Mitchell, Caitlin Clark Play?

The Fever has three players listed on their injury report for Thursday’s matchup, including Mitchell and Clark.

Indiana has listed Mitchell as probable and she is expected to play despite dealing with an illness.

The Fever have also listed Clark as probable due to a lingering back injury that she has dealt with throughout the season and she is expected to play as well.

Damiris Dantas has been ruled out as she will miss the remainder of the season while recovering from left knee surgery.

Wings Injury Report: Will Azzi Fudd, Aziaha James Play?

The Wings have three players listed on their injury report as well, including Azzi Fudd and Aziaha James.

Dallas has ruled out Fudd as it was announced Wednesday that she will miss the remainder of the season as she is set to undergo an arthroscopic procedure to address right knee soreness that has sidelined her since Aug. 7.

The Wings have also ruled out James as she will miss her third consecutive contest as she is away from the team and recovering from a lower left leg injury.

Costanza Verona has also been ruled out as she is sidelined indefinitely after the Wings temporarily suspended her contract.
