The Houston Rockets are at home on Wednesday night as they host the Boston Celtics in an interconference showdown.
Houston enters Wednesday’s game with a 31-17 record after defeating the Indiana Pacers on the road on Monday night.

In Monday’s victory over the Pacers, Alperen Sengun led the way for the Rockets as he recorded 39 points, 16 rebounds and five assists while Jabari Smith Jr. added 19 points and four rebounds of his own.
Now Houston will try to grab another victory on Wednesday as they face off against the Celtics in a tough home matchup.
On the other side, Boston enters Wednesday’s contest with a 32-18 record after defeating the Dallas Mavericks on the road on Tuesday night.

Jaylen Brown led the way for the Celtics in Tuesday’s victory as he ended the game with 33 points, 11 rebounds and three assists while Payton Pritchard recorded 26 points, four rebounds and seven assists off the bench.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, both teams may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

For the Celtics, they have five players listed on their injury report for Wednesday, including Brown.

Boston has listed Brown as doubtful due to left hamstring tightness and right knee soreness and he is expected to miss Wednesday's matchup.
With Brown likely to be sidelined, Pritchard and Hugo Gonzalez could both be in line for increased roles.

The Celtics have ruled out Sam Hauser due to a right thumb strain while Chris Boucher is out due to personal reasons.
Jayson Tatum also remains sidelined while recovering from surgery to repair his torn Achilles while Anfernee Simons is out due to personal reasons as the trade that sent him to the Chicago Bulls for Nikola Vucevic on Tuesday is still pending.

On the other side, the Rockets have four players listed on their injury report, including both Kevin Durant and Dorian Finney-Smith.

Houston has listed Durant as probable due to a left ankle sprain and he is expected to return after missing Monday’s victory over the Pacers.
The Rockets have ruled out Finney-Smith due to left ankle injury management as they will elect to sit him on the first night of their back-to-back.

With Finney-Smith sidelined, Josh Okogie and Jae’Sean Tate could both be in line for increased roles.
Fred VanVleet and Steven Adams have also been ruled out as they both remain sidelined while recovering from injuries.
