The Philadelphia 76ers are on the road on Monday night as they travel to take on the San Antonio Spurs in an interconference showdown.
Philadelphia enters Monday’s game with a 43-35 record after losing at home to the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night.

In Saturday’s loss to the 76ers, Paul George led the way for the 76ers as he recorded 20 points, five rebounds and four assists while Tyrese Maxey scored 23 points of his own.
Now Philadelphia will try to bounce back on Monday as they face off against the Spurs in a tough road matchup.
On the other side, San Antonio enters Monday’s contest with a 59-19 record after losing on the road to the Denver Nuggets in overtime on Saturday afternoon.

Victor Wembanyama led the way for the Spurs in Saturday’s loss as he ended the game with 34 points, 18 rebounds, seven assists and five blocks while Stephon Castle recorded 20 points, five rebounds and nine assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Monday night’s matchup, one side may be without some of their key players due to injuries.
76ers Injury Report: Will Joel Embiid, Cameron Payne Play?
For the 76ers, they have two players listed on their injury report, though Joel Embiid is not one of them.

Of course, Embiid missed Saturday’s loss to the Pistons due to due to oblique injury management and an illness but he is off the injury report and will return on Monday night against the Spurs.
Philadelphia has ruled out Cameron Payne due to a right hamstring strain as he is expected to miss at least two weeks.

With Payne sidelined, Quentin Grimes and Kyle Lowry could both be in line for increased roles off the bench.
The 76ers have also ruled out Johni Broome as he is set to miss the remainder of the season while recovering from right knee surgery.
Spurs Injury Report
On the other side, the Spurs enter Monday’s contest with a clean injury report as they have nobody listed on it.

This is great news for the Spurs as they try to bounce back after a tough loss on the road to the Nuggets on Saturday as they now will look to pick up a key victory at home over the 76ers.
