"I feel like we should host the World Cup every four years," Cunningham said on the "Show Me Something" podcast. "I have seen so much on my social media of everyone around the world actually celebrating.
"I know that America is not perfect, but I have absolutely loved people from foreign countries coming here and saying how great our country is."
Cunningham added that she loves seeing the world unite because of the tournament.
"Yeah, this has been so fun," Cunningham said. "It's been cool. It's been cool to see our country come together. Kind of the world comes together in a way."
The World Cup is hosted by a different country/countries every four years, and this major decision goes through a rigorous process. Although a permanent host is not possible, the 29-year-old's comments showed how enthusiastic she is about the event.
