Indiana Fever coach Stephanie White had no interest in discussing Enes Kanter’s ejection from Sunday night’s game in Chicago.
Kanter, a former NBA Draft first round pick, was ejected from Sunday night’s Sky vs. Fever game in Chicago. The former NBA big man, who has declared for the 2027 WNBA Draft, got into it with Sky guard Natasha Cloud. Kanter was ejected from the game and escorted out by security.
Following the game, Fever head coach Stephanie White was asked about Kanter’s ejection. She had no interest in discussing him. White is urging the media to ignore Kanter’s attention-seeking behavior.
“I mean, I think it’s important that people like you guys in this room don’t give it any gas, right? Like it’s a social media thing,” White told reporters when asked about the incident postgame.

Kanter, of course, is very much wanting attention on social media.
The former NBA big man got it on Sunday night. He spoke to Outkick about his ejection on Sunday evening.
Kanter speaks out on his ejection
Kanter claims that Cloud had issues with him cheering for Sophie Cunningham and the Indiana Fever.
“I was cheering for my friend Sophie because when she shot that three, I put my hands in the air,” Freedom said. “A couple possessions later, she came back and said, ‘She’s not gonna sleep with you.’ And I was shocked. I was like, ‘Listen, I’m not trying to sleep with her. I think she’s awesome. She’s a good friend.’ But I think it has a lot to do with my shirt.
“I was obviously wearing a shirt explaining what a woman is, and I think that had a lot to do with what she thinks about women. I think it triggered her a lot.”
The Fever topped the Sky, 113-90, to improve to 25-14 on the season.
