Caitlin Clark dominated headlines following her historic game against the Seattle Storm. Many couldn't believe what they witnessed, including Stephanie White. During her postgame availability, the Indiana Fever coach discussed the superstar guard's performance.
White highlighted how Clark continues to record never-before-seen numbers. She became the first player in WNBA history to record 40-plus points and 10-plus assists in a single game.
The Fever coach also noted that Clark appeared healthier in the game. The three-time All-Star showed no signs of being hampered by her lingering back issue.
"It's incredible," White said. " I mean, it's special. She does things that we haven't seen. She had a lot of bounce early. You could tell she was feeling better, she was feeling good. And in the moment, sometimes it's surreal to see."

The veteran coach also shared that she had an obscene reaction when she first saw the box score.
"I look at the stat sheet, and I'm looking at different numbers," White said. "I look at the stat sheet at the end of the game, and it's like, 'Holy [expletive], 45 (points) and 10 (assists). I mean, just incredible. Just (an) absolutely incredible performance."
Clark finished with 45 points, 10 assists, two rebounds, four steals, two blocks and six three-pointers in the 110-107 win. It was the Fever's fifth victory in their last seven games, helping improve their season record to 15-10. Kelsey Mitchell chipped in 30 points, while Monique Billings produced 16 points and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, the Storm were led by their starters, who all finished with double-digit points. Dominique Malonga scored a team-high 28 points, along with 14 rebounds in the losing effort.
Indiana returns to action at home on Saturday versus the New York Liberty. Seattle, on the other hand, will have two days off before it faces the Minnesota Lynx at Climate Pledge Arena.
