The U.S. men's hockey team is getting most of the attention following the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy.

The American men topped Canada, 2-1, in the men's hockey gold medal game on Sunday. It was America's first gold medal in men's hockey since 1980. Jack Hughes, 24, scored the game-winning goal for the American team.

The U.S. received a phone call from President Trump following the game and FBI Director Kash Patel was seen partying with the American team in the locker room.

But while the American men are rightfully getting a lot of praise - it was a huge, thrilling victory - the American women dominated the medal count.
