The Seattle Seahawks addressed a glaring need with the 32nd pick in the 2026 NFL Draft by selecting Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price. The second back chosen in the opening stanza was a backup for the Fighting Irish behind No. 3 overall pick Jeremiyah Love.
Price brings burst, long speed, and change-of-pace value to an NFL backfield. He can press the edge, hit creases quickly, and create chunk gains when the blocking gives him space. His adequate but largely untested receiving ability also gives an offense ways to use him on screens and checkdowns. The concerns come in the form of ball security and a lack of starting experience at the collegiate level.
2026 Jadarian Price Fantasy Football Outlook
With Kenneth Walker III in Kansas City and Zach Charbonnet mending a late-season ACL tear, Price has a chance to be a true workhorse to open his NFL career. The Seahawks will remain committed to the ground game, despite having capable aerial weapons, and Price should be a large part of the rushing attack. While his workload could taper a little once Charbs is back on the field, there's still plenty to like in fantasy about the former Golden Domer. Price is an early-season RB2 with long-range upside for more, and he's likely to post a few top-12 lines if Charbonnet is slow to work his way back.
