He may fit best early as a movement receiver who gets manufactured touches to get him in space, with his long-term ceiling tied to how well he develops as a full-field route runner.
2026 Makai Lemon Fantasy Football Outlook
Shipping Brown out the door has been long in the making, and we'll presume he's as good as gone. Lemon has Amon-Ra St. Brown-like traits about him, and he's poised for an immediate impact in an offense that will have DeVonta Smith, then a bunch of question marks in the receiving corps Dontayvion Wicks comes over from Green Bay, and Hollywood Brown signed in free agency. That means Smith, running back Saquon Barkley, and TE Dallas Goedert are the only experienced targets with history catching passes from Jalen Hurts.
All told, Lemon will have his moments in 2026 but is a much better fantasy option for the 2027 season and beyond. This year, he's a risk-reward WR4 who has a puncher's chance of sneaking into weekly flex territory in point-per-reception formats out of the gate.
