Colorado Buffaloes fans are not happy with Deion Sanders for his “embarrassing” postgame answer after his team’s Week 4 loss.
Colorado fell to Baylor, 23-13, on Saturday. The Buffaloes dropped to 2-2 on the season with the loss.
During the game, Colorado’s special teams really struggled. The Buffaloes allowed 130 punt return yards to the Bears, with four returns going for at least 15 yards or more. Deion Sanders, though, was unconcerned by that.
“I mean, they returned some good balls, I don’t think he really did any damage to us on the returns,” he said postgame.
Colorado fans are growing frustrated.
“This program is very unserious. Unfathomably unserious. Embarrassingly unserious. Never saw this coming when this hire happened. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills,” one fan wrote postgame.
“I saw this coming from the start. He’s done nothing to build depth and it shows. True depth comes from solid high school recruiting, not just refilling your roster with portal guys every year. No real culture, and the coaching staff is a true clown show,” one fan added.
“Sanders isn’t a good coach. He’s all talk and no bite. He was an amazing player but thinks that somehow will make him an amazing coach. This ain’t high school or the fcs with several fbs caliber players lol,” one fan added.
Coach Prime remains confident, thoguh
Deion Sanders believes that Colorado is much better than its record would indicate.
“We’re better than this. It seems as though we’re better than our opponents, but the score does not dictate that. And that’s the fascinating thing, we’ve got to find out why,” Sanders said postgame after Colorado’s 23-13 loss at Baylor.
Ultimately, though, as NFL legend Bill Parcells would say, you are what your record says you are, right?
