Caitlin Clark has fully recovered from the right groin injury that abruptly ended her 2025 season with the Indiana Fever last September. The recovery was successful, and she’s back at work with her WNBA team.
The two-time All-Star looks as sharp as ever, based on a clip the Fever released. She shot 22-for-25 from beyond the arc — something Team USA could use for next week’s FIBA qualifiers.
The international duty will mark her first competitive game since she was injured in July of last year. She was eventually shut down for the remainder of the season. Her team finished sixth in the standings and reached the semifinals, where they lost to the Las Vegas Aces after an overtime period.
Fans missed Clark, and the Fever have been generous in providing updates on their superstar. The latest shows her going through drills at the team’s facilities, which got people talking because of what she was wearing.

"I’m just here to look at the Kobe’s on her Feet," said another.

Others commented on her form.
Clark has long been a bonafide wearer and ambassador of signature of shoes of the late Kobe Bryant. She said in 2025 that she is a “Kobe person” through and through.
“I’m a Kobe person, everybody knows that,” Clark said in an interview with Field House Files.
“It’s the best shoe, it’s not even close. I probably like the Kobe 6s the best, which are the ones I have on right now. I like the 5s as well, but the 6s are kind of my thing.”
