Believe it or not, Adam Sandler played a significant role in Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's wedding on Friday night.
Kelce and Swift had around 1,000 guests at their wedding ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City. As you'd imagine, there were countless celebrities in attendance fro this highly-anticipated event, including Erin Andrews, Sabrina Carpenter, Jimmy Fallon, Ethan Hawke, Zoe Kravitz, Patrick Mahomes, Baker Mayfield, Ed Sheeran, Justin Thomas and Mike Vrabel.
Sandler, however, was the only celebrity that was asked to participate in the actual ceremony. It turns out the longtime actor and comedian officiated this wedding.
According to TMZ, Sandler even came up with an original song for Kelce and Swift.
"Adam Sandler made Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding ceremony unforgettable … singing them an original song as he served as their officiant," TMZ reported. "Sources with direct knowledge tell us the song Adam wrote for the bride and groom was humorous yet touching and was all about their love."

Once this report from TMZ made its way over to social media, countless NFL fans and Swifties offered their thoughts on Sandler having such a huge role in the wedding ceremony.
For the most part, the public is baffled that Sandler was chosen as their officiant.
"So Travis Kelce got to pick one thing," one fan commented.
"This is weirder than having the wedding at MSG," a second fan said.
"This is so embarrassing oh my god," a social media user declared.
"This wedding has more unexpected cameos than Avengers Doomsday," another fan replied.
It wasn't a cheap wedding, that's for sure.
Celebrity event designer Edward Perotti believes Kelce and Swift may have paid $35-50 million for their wedding.
"Most stadiums, they're union houses, you also have to navigate the union, the workers, and you have to pay them,” Perotti said, via PEOPLE. “There's a snowball effect with it that just kind of automatically comes with it that most people don't think.”
Luckily for Kelce and Swift, they can afford such an expensive wedding.
