Eric Bieniemy made his triumphant return to the Kansas City Chiefs’ sideline this year and promptly had the offense humming like it did in their Super Bowl years. But some fans – and one WWE icon – noticed that the Chiefs offensive coordinator looked strikingly similar to another famous person.
In his return to the sidelines, Bieniemy decided to rock a well-groomed white beard. Fans quickly started noticing that he bore a striking resemblance to WWE Hall of Famer and powerlifter Mark Henry.
People pointed it out so much that Henry went to his social media accounts and played into it a little bit:
“Happy to have returned to the sideline of the Kansas City Chiefs and bring Patrick Mahomes back from his injury!” Henry wrote on X last night.

The World’s Strongest Offensive Coordinator
Incidentally, both men are rocking the same colored beard these days, so there are some pretty striking similarities between them right now.
And as if that weren’t enough, the men are very close to the same age. Bieniemy was born in August 1969, while Henry was born in June 1971.

Fans on X had plenty of jokes about the whole situation:
“Eric Bieniemy and Mark Henry have never been seen at the same place at the same time,” many users pointed out on social media.
“For crying out loud!! You had me second-guessing and googling if you were actually a part of the KC Chiefs coaching…. And not due to ignorance!” another joked.
“The World’s Strongest Offensive Coordinator! Mark Henry!” a third declared.
“This is hilarious. Saw it every time the camera panned to him, especially with the beard.”
“It’s too early for this. I had to check and see what account this was like 3-4 times.”
The only thing that can make this funnier is Mark Henry showing up to the next Chiefs meeting properly dressed like Bieniemy.
