A pair of WNBA fans attending Sunday's Atlanta Dream vs. Indiana Fever game claim they were "threatened."
Two fans, a mother and a daughter, attended Sunday's game in Atlanta. Kasey Thomason, and her daughter, Annie, bought tickets two rows back from courtside. They wore XX-XY Athletics T-shirts in support of Sophie Cunningham, who has publicly spoken out against transgender athletes in women's sports. The XX-XY logo has become a popular one for those who support Cunningham and her views.
However, in overtime, a security guard allegedly approached the mom and daughter and asked to speak with them. The mother and daughter assumed that it was about their T-shirts. According to Outkick, the mother and daughter were told to switch T-shirts or be escorted out of the building.

The mother and daughter told Outkick that they were told that other fans were "offended" by their T-shirts. They were asked to change into Atlanta's "Wellness & Health Night" shirts and they "reluctantly" did after some time.
"With about two and a half minutes left in overtime, the Thomasons are seen on the ESPN broadcast with the tan Dream shirts in hand. They can be seen talking to fans around them, who they said loved their shirts and showed support for them and Cunningham throughout the game. At about 1:30 remaining, both Kasey and Annie had put the shirts on," Outkick reported.
State Farm Arena's apparel rules
State Farm Arena does have rules for fan outfits and apparel.
"Clothing, garments or signs displaying explicit language, profanity or derogatory characterization towards any person(s)" is strictly prohibited inside of the arena.
Meanwhile, the Fan Code of Conduct states, "Obscene or indecent messages on signs or clothing will not be permitted."
The Fever topped the Dream, 95-91, on Sunday.
