The Atlanta Falcons have not had the best past few years in the NFL. They missed the postseason for the eighth straight time in 2025 after finishing with a 8-9 record.
The Falcons have been struggling to be a contending team, as they last qualified for the playoffs in 2017.
Despite that, they have decent talent in their roster to build on, such as Drake London. The 24-year-old wide receiver was the eighth overall pick in the 2022 draft. He has been a consistent starter for Atlanta since he joined the squad.
In his four-year career, London has played in 62 games, recording 309 receptions for 3,961 yards and 22 touchdowns.
This offseason, the 2021 Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year signed a four-year extension worth $141 million. The deal guarantees London $100 million, and he can earn up to $150 million if he reaches incentives.
The deal makes London the NFL's third-highest-paid receiver behind the Seattle Seahawks' Jaxon Smith-Njigba and the Cincinnati Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase.

The Falcons’ WR marked another milestone this offseason as he proposed to his girlfriend, Sofia Gabay. The couple announced the big news via an Instagram post on Sunday.
"7/2/2026💌" the caption read.
In the image the couple shared on Instagram, London is kneeling while Gabay covers her mouth, appearing shocked. The proposal is set against a nice background of hills in Los Angeles, California.
The couple first connected in college while both were attending USC. London was the star wideout for the Trojans while Gabay studied film and cinema. They have been together since, with Gabay emerging as a familiar fixture in Falcons games throughout her man's career in Atlanta.
This offseason, London will definitely have something to celebrate as he starts a new chapter of his life.
