Drake London won't be leaving the Atlanta Falcons anytime soon.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday night that London agreed to a "massive" contract extension with the Falcons. Clearly, the former No. 8 pick from USC didn't want to enter the season without long-term security.
"The Falcons and star WR Drake London have agreed to terms on a massive new contract extension, as he gets a four-year deal, sources say. Atlanta’s former first-rounder has been a priority and now paid in a deal done by Andrew Kessler of Athletes First," said Rapoport.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Falcons have signed London to a four-year, $141 million extension.
Not only does London's deal include $100 million guaranteed, it could be worth up to $150 million when it's all said and done. While that is quite the investment, it's not exactly a risky decision.
London has been exceptional for the Falcons since being drafted in 2022, hauling in 309 passes for 3,961 yards and 22 touchdowns. Although he hasn't been named a Pro Bowler yet, he has proven he's a No. 1 option at wideout.

Interestingly enough, NFL fans are torn on this deal.
"Drake London is not remotely close to a top 5 WR, let alone top 3," one fan declared.
"He deserves it, he’s one of the best WRs in football, you don’t know ball if you don’t think so," a second fan wrote.
"This deal is too expensive," another fan said.
"Great contract," an NFL fan commented. "The guy is a stud."
Is Bijan next for Atlanta?
Now that London's contract situation has been sorted out, Atlanta's front office can focus on All-Pro running back Bijan Robinson.
The Falcons fell short of their ultimate goals in 2025, but Robinson did everything in his power to put the offense on his back. The Texas product finished his third NFL season with 2,298 scrimmage yards and 11 total touchdowns.
Robinson is under team control for the next two seasons, but the Falcons may want to start discussing a long-term contract with his camp.
