A recent post from X user @ilyremy9 claimed that Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton were “officially married,” citing a fabricated Instagram story screenshot showing a ring being placed on a hand with the caption “happily married to my favorite person.” The post, paired with a separate photo of Kardashian and Hamilton together, racked up more than 6 million views and added that Kardashian had “decided to keep this fourth one private” since marriage, referencing her previous marriages.
The post hit the trends; even NASCAR driver Corey LaJoie replied to the claim with a GIF of a stunned, wide-eyed reaction of popular show ‘Breaking Bad’s character, Walter White, a clear signal he wasn’t buying it.

There is no credible evidence that Kardashian and Hamilton are married or even engaged. The photo used in the viral post does not match any verified imagery from Kardashian’s or Hamilton’s actual social accounts.
LaJoie’s GIF reply spread quickly in NASCAR and motorsport circles, with fans picking up on the same skepticism given how often AI-generated images and fabricated screenshots have circulated about the Kardashian-Hamilton relationship.
The episode is a reminder that a viral screenshot, however convincing it looks, still needs a real source before it should be taken as fact, and in this case, that source doesn’t exist.
Lewis Hamilton and Kim Kardashian Relationship Timeline
The real relationship has unfolded gradually since late 2025, without ever reaching anything close to a wedding. The pair were first spotted together at a New Year’s Eve party in Aspen, and were followed in early February after reports placed them on a getaway in England. Days later, a viral video showed Hamilton and Kardashian together outside a Paris hotel, though it stopped short of confirming anything.
The rumors picked up steam when the two were seen seated together at Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara, and shortly after, the seven-time Formula 1 champion was asked about Kardashian directly at a press conference. He shut the question down, saying, “It’s my private life, I’m not going to talk about that.”
By March, the two were photographed together in Tokyo ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix, prompting Esteban Ocon and fellow drivers to joke about “Keeping Up With the Hamiltons” during an official F1 game. The relationship effectively became public in April, when Hamilton posted a viral Tokyo Drift-themed Instagram reel showing the American reality TV star riding alongside him in a Ferrari F40, followed days later by a joint appearance at Coachella alongside Kardashian’s daughter, North West.
Kardashian has continued to show up at F1 events since, including an awkward run-in with broadcaster Martin Brundle during his grid walk at the Monaco Grand Prix. Despite the relationship being effectively public for months, neither has announced an engagement or wedding, making this week’s viral claim just the latest fabrication to circulate about the couple.
