Former Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Trysten Hill is making headlines for the wrong reasons this offseason.
Hill, a former second-round pick from UCF, started his career with the Cowboys in 2019. He then had stints with the Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts.
Although it's unclear if Hill has any interest in attempting an NFL comeback, that might not be on the table now due to his legal situation.
The Elliss County Sheriff's Office has charged Hill with assault of a pregnant person and interfering with an emergency request for assistance. He was booked at the Wayne McCollum Detention Center in Waxahachie, Texas.

According to Fox 4, the Elliss County Sheriff's Office arrested Hill for two bond forfeiture warrants. He's being held on a $3,500 bond.
Even though Hill was arrested on March 26, his mugshot is now making the rounds on social media. Fans are confused as to why he was smiling after being arrested for assault.
A current Cowboys player was arrested earlier this offseason.
A little over two months ago, Cowboys defensive end Donovan Ezeiruaku was arrested for reckless driving. He was booked into Collin County Jail and released on the same day.
Ezeiruaku, a second-round pick from the 2025 NFL Draft, had 40 tackles and two sacks during his rookie season.
Hopefully, the Cowboys don't have to go through any other legal issues this offseason.
