ESPN's Pat McAfee is no longer as involved in the WWE world as he used to be, but he was trending on Monday evening.
The former NFL punter turned media mogul spent multiple years getting involved in the wrestling world. Clearly, his impact is still being felt. On Monday night, longtime wrestling star C.M. Punk called out McAfee and gave him a new, unflattering nickname.
C.M. Punk called out McAfee in a ring-side rant, telling him to call up Ari Emanuel and have ticket prices to WrestleMania 42 lowered.
"Pat McAfee, you buggy whip armed, no brained hillbilly. You want to talk about ticket sales? Call up that agent shoehorned you into this product and tell him to LOWER THE TICKET PRICES," he said.
He also referred to the ESPN star as "Pat MAGAfee."
McAfee, who was spending Monday night watching the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament national title game, appeared a bit stunned by the reference.
"I just had a nice little dinner… Put girl dahn for bed. I come back to my phone. Is this about me?" he joked.

"Embrace it brother! Can’t cancel someone who don’t (care). Be proud of what you believe in don’t let these (expletives) make you second guess your values and beliefs!" one fan added.

Perhaps the ESPN star will respond during his show on Tuesday afternoon, beginning at 12 p.m. E.T.
