ESPN is back for its first broadcast of Monday Night Football for the new NFL season. Mina Kimes and the rest of the crew headed to Arrowhead Stadium to cover the Week 1 matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Denver Broncos.
There were more than a few storylines surrounding the season opener between the Chiefs and the Broncos, but Kimes stole some of the spotlight with her outfit for the primetime matchup.
The veteran sportscaster wore a sleeveless burgundy top that featured a high crew neckline. Kimes paired it with a fitted dark-brown midi skirt that gathered gently around the hips. She completed her game day look with tan crossover-strap, open-toe heels.
Kimes quickly drew attention on social media as fans and colleagues alike reacted to her season-opening ensemble.

Kimes has been with ESPN since 2014. She started as a feature writer before eventually becoming an on-air personality. Today, she has firmly established herself as a respected NFL analyst for one of the industry’s biggest sports networks.
The 41-year-old is part of ESPN’s award-winning daily football show, “NFL Live.” Kimes also received a nomination for Outstanding Personality: Studio Analyst at the 2026 Sports Emmys.
As for the football, it’s the Chiefs who have the advantage over the Broncos. As of this writing, Kansas City holds a 14-7 lead at halftime.
