ESPN's released its official 2026 college football preseason Top 25 poll.
The 2025 college football season came to an end on Monday night. No. 1 Indiana took down No. 10 Miami in the College Football Playoff national championship game. It's been a historic run for Curt Cignetti since he took over the program two years ago. The Hoosiers wrapped up a perfect, undefeated season on Monday evening.
But who will hold the trophy in 2026-27?

ESPN is ranking Indiana at No. 1 overall.
"The Hoosiers, who became the first FBS program to lose 700 games and had 100-1 odds to win a national title at the start of the season, are the first team to go 16-0 in a season in the modern era," ESPN writes.
"Not surprisingly, the Hoosiers are No. 1 in the first edition of the 2026 Way-Too-Early Top 25. Coach Curt Cignetti and his staff will have to replace many of their best players, but they've proved they can evaluate, develop and coach better than most."
