ABC and ESPN have the call of Sunday's national title game between No. 1 seed UCLA and No. 1 seed South Carolina on Sunday.
ESPN's broadcasting team features play-by-play man Ryan Ruocco, analyst Rebecca Lobo and sideline reporter Holly Rowe. However, fans have one main issue with the broadcast: the repeated references to Geno Auriemma.
Auriemma, who has won 12 national titles, got into it with Dawn Staley at the end of Friday night's Final Four game. He had issues with Staley's lack of respect during a pregame handshake. Auriemma ultimately apologized.
"There's no excuse for how I handled the end of the game vs. South Carolina," Auriemma said in a statement issued through the school. "It's unlike what I do and what our standard is here at Connecticut. I want to apologize to the staff and the team at South Carolina. It was uncalled for in how I reacted. The story should be how well South Carolina played, and I don't want my actions to detract from that. I've had a great relationship with their staff, and I sincerely want to apologize to them."

But Auriemma is getting a lot of mentions during the broadcast of Sunday's national championship game, even though his UConn team is not playing in the contest.
College basketball fans are annoyed with the constant references to someone who isn't a part of Sunday's game.

"Can we stop talking about Geno during this game this is about UCLA & SC he’s a non factor today," one fan wrote.
"I'm not surprised but why oh why is espn still talking about this geno crashout uconn is back in storrs lmao today is not about them!!" one fan added.
"Geno has been mentioned more times than I can count today and it’s not needed imo," one fan added.
"Nobody cares about Geno…today isn’t the day!!" one fan added.
"We don’t care about Geno today , UConn is not playing stop feeding into that," one fan added.
South Carolina and UCLA, meanwhile, are currently playing on ABC.
