Former NFL star Jason Kelce had the chance to showcase his broadcasting skills Tuesday night during the 2026 Pro Bowl Games.

ESPN had Kelce calling the Pro Bowl at the Moscone Center in San Francisco alongside Dan Orlovsky and Scott Van Pelt. The network had Michelle Beisner-Buck and Laura Rutledge conducting in-game interviews on the sideline. Ryan Clark, Mina Kimes, Peter Schrager and Marcus Spears were also present for this exhibition, but they weren't as vocal as Kelce and Orlovsky.

Throughout this year's Pro Bowl, fans heard Kelce yelling about trick plays as well as the rules for flag football. Apparently, his commentary rubbed some viewers the wrong way.

"The Pro Bowl was always the worst of all star games. But being its a flag football game where no one is going more than 1/2 speed, its unwatchable. Add in the horrific commentary by Jason Kelce makes it hot garbage," one fan commented. "Time to switch back to St Johns game."

"I turned on the Pro Bowl for 13 seconds. Jason Kelce is literally screaming into the mic," a second fan wrote. "Turned that off real quick."

"All set with this flag football Pro Bowl, don’t need to listen to Jason Kelce screaming like a moron," another fan said.

"Jason Kelce is WAY too excited about this Pro Bowl game," a social media user added.

Will ESPN keep Jason Kelce?

Sam Neumann of Awful Announcing reported last week that Kelce's show, "They Call It Late Night," won't be renewed by ESPN for a second season.

“The decision came from Kelce, who wanted to explore other opportunities during the offseason rather than commit to another run of the show. ESPN remained supportive of continuing the program and will work with Kelce on other projects going forward,” Neumann wrote.

Kelce will remain a part of the "Monday Night Countdown" crew. Who knows? Maybe he'll eventually become a color commentator.
