Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream looked to stay hot on Sunday evening as they returned home to face Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever at State Farm Arena. The Dream entered the matchup with a 21-12 record on the 2026 WNBA season, winning two straight games against the Toronto Tempo and Connecticut Sun.
The Fever got off to a hot start against Atlanta, going up by double digits in the first half. But the Dream were able to storm back in the second quarter, taking a 44-40 lead into halftime.
Despite coming back, Reese did not have her best performance in the first two quarters, recording just six points on 3-of-10 shooting, nine rebounds, three assists and two turnovers.

ESPN broadcast the Fever vs. Dream game, with Ryan Ruocco handling play-by-play and Rebecca Lobo serving as the analyst. During a halftime interview with sideline reporter Holly Rowe, Reese made it clear she wasn't happy with her first-half performance, dropping an expletive that ESPN failed to censor.
"Yeah, I mean, I was playing like (expletive) in the beginning," Reese said to a laughing Rowe. "But it's a game of runs, you gotta put that in your back pocket, just because you know that you have teammates that have your back. (Allisha Gray), Madina (Okot), Rhyne (Howard), their carrying us right now. So just playing together, playing collectively and let our defense speak for itself."
Then, when asked what she changed toward the end of the first half to improve her play, Reese commented, "Taking my time... and just trusting my work."
Following the matchup against the Fever, Reese and the Dream will be back in action on Tuesday, beginning a four-game road trip against A'ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces.
