Will we see President Donald Trump on “College GameDay” this Saturday? Despite all the speculation online, it doesn’t sound like he’ll be on the show.
OutKick founder Clay Travis reported Wednesday that Trump would be in attendance for this weekend’s Texas-Tennessee game at Neyland Stadium. It wasn’t long before The Athletic confirmed that news.
“President Donald Trump is planning to attend this Saturday’s marquee game between No. 1 Texas and No. 14 Tennessee in Knoxville, Tenn., the White House Press Office confirmed to The Athletic,” the outlet confirmed. “The visit will place Trump at the center of one of the biggest games of the college football season, with the Longhorns and Volunteers both 3-0 entering their SEC opener, which kicks off at noon ET. ESPN’s ‘College GameDay’ will also be in Knoxville, with the final hour of Saturday’s show originating from inside Neyland Stadium before kickoff.”
Some fans thought Trump would be the celebrity guest picker on this weekend’s episode of “College GameDay,” especially after ESPN declined to comment on his presence.

That being said, it was just confirmed that President Trump won’t be making gameday picks with Kirk Herbstreit and the rest of the crew.
During this Thursday’s episode of “The Pat McAfee Show,” it was confirmed that Johnny Knoxville will be this week’s celebrity guest picker.
Knoxvill is a diehard Volunteers fan, which makes sense considering he grew up in Tennessee and named himself after his hometown. He should be an excellent addition to the “College GameDay” panel.
“College GameDay” has already landed marquee names this year.
This season of “College GameDay” kicked off with country singer Lainey Wilson previewing a Week 1 showdown between Clemson and LSU.
In Week 2, “The Running Man” actor and Austin native Glen Powell joined the show to preview the Ohio State-Texas game.
Week 3, meanwhile, featured a legend in Morgan Freeman. He correctly picked Ole Miss to knock off LSU in Lane Kiffin’s return to Oxford.
We can’t wait to see Knoxville make his picks on “College GameDay.”
