Erin Andrews is coming to Dak Prescott's defense after his failed engagement.
The Dallas Cowboys star quarterback and his fiancee, Sarah Jane Ramos, called off their wedding a month before the big day. The couple was on a joint bachelor/bachelorette party in The Bahamas, when things boiled over. Ramos reportedly called off the wedding.
"We're told the relationship had been rocky behind the scenes for months ... but things came to a head with a blowup argument at their joint bachelor and bachelorette parties in the Bahamas -- and Sarah Jane called it off," TMZ Sports reported.
"The reality is, we're told the relationship is beyond repair ... so the focus will be on coparenting their two kids — ages 2 and nearly 10 months — moving forward."
Now, in the wake of the engagement being called off, Erin Andrews is coming to the star quarterback's defense.

During a recent Q&A edition of the “Calm Down” podcast, Andrews and Thompson explained that Prescott is a “fantastic person” both on and off of the field.
“Why does Dak get so much hate? Everyone says what a great leader and teammate he is,” one fan asked.
“He is a fantastic person on and off the field, he is a class act,” Thompson said. “He has been through hell and back in his personal life. He’s lost his brother, he’s lost his mom. He is a constant champion of people in the mental health space in everything from cancer prevention and early detection. To answer your question … I have no idea [why people hate him].”
Erin Andrews spoke out on Prescott
Andrews joked that she is basically Prescott's "older sister." She's been covering him since his rookie season in 2016.
“I’ve been covering him since he took over that job his rookie season [in 2016], I’ve seen Dak go through hell and back. I’ve seen Dak have good times, high times — He’s a guy I get very defensive about because he’s so lovely.
“… Dak is the kind of guy — know everything he stands for off the field … I did a charity event with St. Jude and there was an anonymous donation on Instagram, but then you could see who did it … He’s such a solid, solid dude. Love him.”
Thompson added: “We are Dak fan club supporters over here … come sit with us and we’ll wave our Dak flag.”
