England got a huge fitness boost ahead of their World Cup quarterfinal against Norway as Declan Rice returned to full training, after fears he would be ruled out due to illness.
Rice had been sidelined for much of England's training camp earlier in the week after contracting an illness after defeating Morocco in the Round of 16. He was added to the injury watchlist alongside defenders Marc Guéhi and Reece James, who were both dealing with fitness concerns.
But the latest news has been all good news for England fans.
Is Declan Rice Playing Today? England Midfielder Returns to Training
Rice trained alongside Marc Guéhi and Reece James during England's final full session before facing Norway, with all three rejoining the main group after earlier concerns over their fitness.
That means Rice starts in the midfield against Norway, where he will be a key factor in controlling the game and shutting down the opposition.

The Arsenal midfielder has been a key figure for England in the World Cup, and his return is timely as they look to face Erling Haaland and a potent Norwegian attack.
England Lineup vs. Norway
England XI (4-2-3-1)
- Goalkeeper: Jordan Pickford;
- Defenders: Ezri Konsa, Marc Guéhi, John Stones, Nico O'Rielly;
- Midfielders: Declan Rice, Elliot Anderson;
- Attacking Midfielders: Jude Bellingham;
- Wingers: Noni Madueke, Anthony Gordon;
- Attackers: Harry Kane.
England will have to be careful with player discipline. Rice is one of several Three Lions players with a yellow card, which would see him ruled out of a World Cup semifinal if England beat Norway.
The added pressure may have an impact on Tuchel's midfield strategy. Tuchel also announced unfortunate Jordan Henderson news.
However, Declan Rice was substituted at halftime, and his illness is suspected to be the reason. Eberechi Eze replaced the Arsenal midfielder to continue for the remainder of the game.
