Ever since the infamous steroid trials of the early-2000s, sports fans around the world have wondered what sports would be like if all of the athletes took performance enhancing drugs. Well, for better or worse, one organization is going to try and answer that question, and Fox Sports' Emmanuel Acho will have a front row look at it.

Earlier this week, the Enhanced Games organization announced that Acho will be one of the studio anchors for their inaugural Games event in Las Vegas this coming May. He will be joined by MLB Network's Abby Labar, along with millionaire Bryan Johnson on the broadcast team.

"Meet the Enhanced Games broadcast team.🎙️ Former NFL player @EmmanuelAcho and sportscaster @abbylabar_ will serve as our studio anchors for the inaugural Games. They are joined by @bryan_johnson providing expert commentary on the science of human performance," the organization announced on X

Awful Announcing reported that Fox Sports' Justin Kutcher and color commentator Sam Quek will call races and weightlifting.

The Enhanced Games

According to their website, the Enhancement Games will be a global competition that "celebrates human potential through safe, transparent enhancement, offering fair play, record pay, and unmatched athlete care."

It is slated to be held in late-May at Resorts World in Las Vegas and will feature 50 athletes competing in swimming, weightlifting and track & field events. Legendary weightlifter Thor Bjornsson and a slew of former Olympians are listed on their website as athletes that are part of their company.

To ensure safety, Enhanced Games founder Aron D'Souza has said that all athletes will undergo extensive tests before the competition to ensure that they are healthy.

“We will focus on athlete safety by mandating athletes have pre-competition full-system clinical screenings, including blood tests and EKGs."

Given some of the documented dangers of performance-enhancing drugs, there's an understandable level of skepticism and even mockery at the Games. But with over 35,000 followers on X, it's clear that there's some kind of interest in what they're trying to do.
