Just about every celebrity and athlete you can think of was invited to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's New York City wedding earlier this month.
Roughly 1,000 guests, including hundreds of people from the sports world and hundreds of people from the entertainment world, packed Madison Square Garden in Midtown Manhattan on July 3.
But there was one notable omission from the festivities. Ellen DeGeneres, the former talk show host, was not invited to the wedding, according to Page Six Hollywood.

DeGeneres was one of the most notable "snubs" according to the report.
"The billionaire pop star appeared on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' 19 times between 2008 and 2021, in a mix of full in-studio interviews, musical performances and pre-taped sketches," Page Six reported.
"The 'Shake It Off' singer’s first appearance on the show was Nov. 11, 2008, to promote 'Fearless.' There was also the 2013 episode in which Swift became visibly emotional when DeGeneres teased her about her very public love-life challenges."
Why DeGeneres was 'snubbed' from the wedding
A source close to the show claims that it was just a business relationship.
“She was regular and favorite guest, but it was always just a talkshow relationship,” says the source, per Page Six. “They did lots of fun stuff together, but there was never a friendship beyond a professional one.”
That argument seems fairly light, though, considering how many people were invited to the wedding. Are we supposed to believe that Kelce and Swift are good friends with every celebrity and sports figure that got the invite? There were tons of people there who have very little to no relationship with Kelce and Swift, outside of being a huge celebrity.
