Eileen Gu was among several standout athletes at the 2026 Met Gala on Monday evening.
The annual event, hosted by Anna Wintour, raises money for the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art (or 'the Met') in New York City. The dress code for Monday night's event was 'Fashion is Art,’ inviting guests to express their own relationship to fashion as an embodied art form and celebrate the countless depictions of the dressed body throughout art history," per an official statement.
Gu, 22, rocked quite the outfit. Her outfit has more than 15,000 glass bubbles and took 2,550 hours to make.
