Green Bay Packers linebacker Edgerrin Cooper was carted off the field after suffering a non-contact injury to his left ankle. With 8:43 left in the third quarter, Cooper went down without being touched as the ball was snapped on a third-and-eight, grabbing his ankle before being helped off the field.
The Packers announced that Cooper was out for the remainder of Sunday’s contest with an Achilles injury. Cooper was replaced by Isaiah McDuffie, who later left the game with an eye injury and is questionable to return.
Before leaving the game, Cooper was having arguably his best performance of the season, posting nine tackles, a sack, and an interception. The third-year pro came into Sunday with 21 tackles (six for loss) and two sacks.
