NFL analysts are becoming increasingly pessimistic about former No. 4 overall pick Marvin Harrison’s future with the Arizona Cardinals. But as trade rumors continue to intensify, one team seems like a possible landing spot.
Appearing on The Ryen Russillo Show, NFL analyst Daniel Jeremiah floated the Philadelphia Eagles as a team that might take a risk and make a trade for Harrison. He doesn’t believe it would be a big risk either, suggesting that at most Eagles GM Howie Roseman would offer a fourth-round pick that could upgrade to a third-round pick with good production from him.
“This is Philly… I’m imagining he’s from Philly right? His dad was from Philadelphia. I think that he could kind of get a chance to resurrect his career out there,” Jeremiah said.
“You’re not going to get (a second-rounder for him). I mean, to me, you’re talking like a four that turns into a three with some decent production.”
Giving up on a former No. 4 overall pick in after just two seasons and change and not getting even a second-round pick in return might be bad business for the Cardinals. But if they’re that determined to get Harrison out the building, there’s plenty of other teams that would gleefully take a chance and part with a fourth-rounder.
Fans on X have already made that clear:
“If could get him with a 4th rounder that would be worth the chance. If the chiefs wanted to do it,” one Chiefs fan wrote.
“If all it takes to get MHJ is a 4th or 3rd round pick the #Chargers need to make that call right away,” wrote a Chargers fan.
“One season in? Unlikely. Why would Arizona move on from a top-5 pick so fast?” a third fan asked.

A Slow Start for MHJ
Harrison has played in 31 games but is averaging less than 50 yards per game for his career. Once a sure-handed receiver and speedster at Ohio State, he’s catching only 54-percent of passes and just 3.4 receptions per game.
Are Harrison’s days in Arizona numbered?
