No matter how hard they'll try to deny them, the Philadelphia Eagles will have to deal with A.J. Brown trade rumors for the majority of the offseason.
Despite being disgruntled throughout the 2025 regular season, Brown still had 78 catches for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns. Although he hasn't publicly requested a trade, teams have reportedly called the Eagles to see what it'll take. Let's just say Eagles general manager Howie Roseman is seeking a huge haul in return.
According to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, the Eagles want a first-rounder and a second-round pick in exchange for Brown.
The Eagles are in no rush to trade Brown, especially since getting rid of him would result in them taking on $43.5 million in dead money.
“If the Eagles were to bite the bullet and trade Brown early this offseason, they’d be taking on the 4th largest single season dead cap hit in NFL history (and making a heck of a lot more financial trouble for themselves as well),” Michael Ginnitti of Spotrac wrote.

Which teams could show interest in A.J. Brown?
A recent ESPN article from Jeremy Fowler, Dan Graziano, Tim McManus, Ben Solak and Seth Walder shared a few trade scenarios involving Brown. They expect the Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots to show interest in him.
ESPN analyst Louis Riddick believes the Bills should go all in on acquiring Brown this offseason. He'd be a perfect addition to Joe Brady's offense in Buffalo.
Are teams willing to part with two premium draft picks for Brown? It's tough to see that happening right now, but maybe things will change as we get closer to the NFL Draft.
