Eagles Coach Nick Sirianni Accused Of 'Disrespectful' Behavior

Despite being a year removed from leading the Philadelphia Eagles to the Super Bowl, there are plenty of fans who want Nick Sirianni fired this Thursday.

For starters, Sirianni botched Philadelphia's search for an offensive coordinator last offseason. His decision to replace Kellen Moore with Kevin Patullo backfired in a major way. After their 2025 season came to an end, the Eagles relieved Patullo of his play-calling duties and gave that responsibility to former Green Bay Packers quarterbacks coach Sean Mannion.

As if there wasn't enough uncertainty on Sirianni's staff, the Eagles learned Wednesday that longtime offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland won't be back for the 2026 season. He's been with the franchise since 2013.

"Philadelphia, I've decided my time coaching with the Eagles has come to an end," Stoutland wrote on social media. "When I arrived here in 2013, I did not know what I was signing up for. I quickly learned what this city demands. But more importantly, what it gives back. The past 13 years have been the great privilege of my coaching career. I didn't just work here, I became one of you. Stout out."

ESPN's Tim McManus reported that Sirianni stopped consulting Stoutland about the team's run designs during the season. That was seen as a major sign of disrespect, especially since Stoutland was Philly's run game coordinator.

"With the offense stagnant, head coach Nick Sirianni took on a more active role over the latter part of the season. He and then-offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo began incorporating different run designs in an effort to kick start the operation," McManus wrote. "Stoutland was not consulted about the changes to what he felt was an appropriate degree, a league source said, to the point where he no longer desired the title of run game coordinator because he felt it no longer fit his job description."

Should Sirianni be on the hot seat?

Judging by the reactions to Stoutland's departure, Eagles fans want Sirianni gone today.

"This explains all those 1st down runs up the middle for a loss of 2 every single possession. This is Nick's last season," one person said.

"Nick has to go if he went rogue - that’s so disrespectful if true," a second fan wrote.

"If Stoutland was behind the run changes this year, I'd have said maybe he's losing it a bit and not felt bad, but this is just the worst possible outcome," a third fan commented.

"Sirianni is somehow going to go down as the worst coach to win a Super Bowl ever simply because he is the cause of an elite roster and coaching staff imploding," another fan declared.

The Eagles won't move on from Sirianni this offseason. Make no mistake though, he can't afford a chaotic 2026 season.
