Celebrini becomes the youngest cover athlete in franchise history after a breakout rookie season that established him as one of the NHL's brightest young stars. The San Jose Sharks forward now joins a growing list of NHL stars to grace the cover of the franchise as EA prepares to unveil the next installment of its annual hockey series.
While today's announcement doesn't reveal gameplay features or new modes, it does give fans their first official look at NHL 27 and, more importantly, a date to circle on the calendar for the full reveal.

Fans Are Eager to See What's Next
With the official reveal just days away, excitement is beginning to build across the NHL gaming community. Beyond seeing the first gameplay footage and new features, many fans are hoping EA Sports uses NHL 27 to continue refining the on-ice experience.
Over the past year, community discussions have centered around gameplay balance, including the effectiveness of the pressure system, offensive scoring opportunities, and defensive mechanics. Players are also eager to see whether puck movement, one-timers, and overall gameplay flow receive any attention in this year's installment.
