EA SPORTS FC 27 players are just days away from Early Access, but Ultimate Team fans will be able to start managing their clubs even sooner.
EA confirmed the launch schedule for the FC 27 Web App and Companion App in its latest FC 27 Pitch Notes published on Sept. 14. The Web App will arrive first, followed by the mobile Companion App one day later.
For players waiting to start building and managing their Ultimate Team, here’s when both apps go live and how to access them.
When Does the EA FC 27 Companion App Go Live?
EA Sports
The EA SPORTS FC 27 Companion App goes live Thursday, Sept. 17, at 17:00 UTC, according to EA’s latest Pitch Notes.
Here’s the full schedule:
- FC 27 Web App: Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 17:00 UTC (1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT)
- FC 27 Companion App: Thursday, Sept. 17 at 17:00 UTC (1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT)
The Web App is browser-based, meaning there is nothing for players to download. The Companion App, meanwhile, is available on supported iOS and Android devices and allows players to manage their Ultimate Team while away from their console or PC.
EA’s FC Web page is already down for maintenance ahead of the transition. As of Sept. 14, the page displays a message stating that the Companion App and other FC Web features are unavailable while EA prepares for FC 27.
How to Download the FC 27 Companion App
Once FC 27 support goes live on Sept. 17, players can download the EA SPORTS FC Companion App through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Players who already have the Companion App installed should check for the FC 27 update once it becomes available. After launching the app, players will need to sign in using the EA Account associated with their Ultimate Team club.
FC 27 Early Access Is Almost Here
The Web and Companion Apps arrive immediately before EA FC 27 Early Access begins Sept. 18, giving eligible players an opportunity to start working on their Ultimate Team before jumping into the new game.
The full release of EA SPORTS FC 27 follows on Sept. 25.
With launch week almost here, Ultimate Team players have two dates to remember: Sept. 16 at 17:00 UTC for the Web App and Sept. 17 at 17:00 UTC for the Companion App.
