EA College Football 27 is getting another update as EA continues to address issues across several of the game’s biggest modes. According to EA’s official September 30 Campus Huddle, the latest Title Update is scheduled to arrive October 1 with changes to Gameplay, Dynasty, Road to Glory, Ultimate Team and more.
While this update does not introduce sweeping gameplay changes, it addresses several frustrating issues while improving features such as the EA SPORTS Network, Dynasty Blueprint and Ultimate Team EVOs.

Gameplay Changes Headline the Update
Gameplay received a handful of fixes, including a change to Ballhawk and fixes involving quarterbacks, defensive line adjustments and interceptions around the end zone.
Here are some of the notable gameplay changes:
- Players can now strafe while using Ballhawk.
- Fixed quarterbacks performing a super dive when attempting to slide near the first-down line.
- Fixed the defensive line automatically pinching or spreading when audibling in or out of QB Sneak.
- Interceptions caught near and carried into the end zone should no longer incorrectly result in a safety.
The final fix should eliminate an unusual scoring issue where a defensive takeaway could incorrectly award points to the opposing team.

Dynasty Gets Several Fixes
EA is continuing to work on Dynasty following the response to the EA SPORTS Network. The developers said they are monitoring player feedback and plan to continue making appropriate changes.
The update fixes the Top Story not being viewable when the user’s team was playing in the National Championship and makes several text-based content updates to the EA SPORTS Network.
Dynasty Blueprint also received fixes involving Coach Goals, Coach Points and Dynasty Point refunds when firing staff members. EA also addressed an issue that could leave players stuck on a “Please Wait” message while attempting to view post-game stats.

Ultimate Team EVOs and Objectives Improved
Ultimate Team receives one of the larger collections of fixes in the October 1 update, with EA focusing on Ultimate Captains, Objectives on Items and EVOs.
Notable fixes include:
- EVOs should now apply to the player actually selected by the user instead of the first eligible player.
- Filters should no longer cause blank or duplicated player items.
- EVO Upgrade Path previews now properly display objective rewards.
- Several server errors involving EVOs, Sets and item management were addressed.
- The Field Pass Reward Path now displays the remaining XP needed to reach a level.
- Online Head-to-Head should properly use uniforms selected in Advanced Settings.
The EVO selection fix is particularly noteworthy since the previous issue could result in an upgrade being applied to a different eligible player than the one selected.
Road to Glory also received smaller fixes, including issues that could cause the game to freeze during certain practice scenarios.
The October 1 update rounds things out with several new and updated uniforms, including looks for Arizona State, Navy, Oregon and Texas A&M. EA also fixed an issue causing crowds and crowd chants to sound distorted on PS5.
