As a five-star freshman for the Duke Blue Devils, Cameron Boozer has more than lived up to his billing. The son of two-time NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer is averaging 22.7 points, 10.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists on 58.3% shooting from the field while also drilling 40.7% of shots from deep.
With the Blue Devils ranked as the No. 1 team in the country and sitting at a 29-2 record on the year, Boozer is viewed as a lock to sweep just about every major award that he is up for. As he and Duke await their quarterfinal opponent in the ACC, Boozer received recognition for his recent play.

With Duke closing out the regular season on an eight-game winning streak, Boozer may somehow be finding another level of elite play at the perfect time of the year. In fact, his strong showing this past week led to him earning two honors at once.
"Cam last week 👀👀👀👀👀👀🤯," wrote Duke on Instagram.
As indicated in the post, Boozer was named both ACC Player of the Week and ACC Rookie of the Week fter averaging 26 points, 12 rebounds and 5.5 assists.
Boozer and Duke will play the winner of Wednesday's No. 8 seed Florida State vs. No. 9 seed California.
