Cameron Boozer and the Duke Blue Devils did not finish the 2025-26 college basketball season as they had hoped. After securing a 32-2 regular-season record, including a 17-1 mark in ACC play, Duke earned the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament. But its March Madness run was cut short, falling to the No. 2 seed UConn Huskies on a game-winning shot by Braylon Mullins in the Elite Eight.
Still, Boozer proved to be one of the best players in all of college basketball during his freshman season. The forward from Miami averaged team-highs of 22.5 points on 55.6% shooting, 10.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. Boozer even became the national college player of the year and a consensus first-team All-American. But while fans await his official decision on the 2026 NBA Draft, likely going in the top three, one of his Duke teammates is on the move.

Darren Harris, a 6-foot-5 guard out of Paul VI Catholic High School (Fairfax, Virginia), was a four-star prospect in the class of 2024 (247Sports). He ranked as the 40th-best overall recruit in his class, along with the 11th-best small forward and the third-best out of the state of Virginia.
Harris has spent his first two college seasons in Durham, but hasn't had a huge role on Jon Scheyer's team. In 2024-25, he played in just 21 games, averaging 6.0 minutes. And this past season, Harris saw his role increase slightly, playing in 36 games for the Blue Devils, averaging 3.3 points on 36.3% shooting and 0.8 rebounds in just 9.7 minutes per game.
And following Duke's exit in the NCAA Tournament, Harris elected to enter his name in the transfer portal, hoping to find more playing time elsewhere. And on Monday, he announced his commitment to the Indiana Hoosiers.
"Go time. #Uno," Harris wrote on Instagram with photos of himself in Indiana gear.
Boozer reacted to his former teammate transferring to the Big Ten school, showing his support for Harris in the comments: "Uno👀👀."
Boozer is widely projected to go in the top three of the upcoming 2026 NBA Draft, assuming he declares, and is ranked up there with the likes of Kansas' Darryn Peterson and BYU's AJ Dybantsa.
