Atlanta Dream guard Te-Hina PaoPao made headlines for all the wrong reasons after Saturday's win against the Indiana Fever.
PaoPao came off the bench to help Atlanta secure its second straight win against Indiana, 113-96. The 5-foot-9 guard logged nine points, two assists and three triples in 16 minutes of action.
Unfortunately for PaoPao, her biggest highlight play of the evening was an embarrassing moment on the court. This is after Fever star Kelsey Mitchell busted out a nasty behind-the-back crossover that dropped PaoPao.
To make matters worse, the second-year Dream player twisted both her ankles on the play. Mitchell went on to hit a wide-open three-pointer as PaoPao watched from the floor.

This incident led PaoPao to make a decision about her shoes. The 23-year-old revealed that she's opted to wear a different pair moving forward.
"We're going with Kobe's from now on, y'all," she said. "Yeah, we're going back to those. Unfortunately, the shoes that was played with (on) Saturday, yeah, they got to go. They are retired."
Despite her forgettable moment against Mitchell, however, PaoPao has been a key rotation player for Atlanta this season. The former South Carolina Gamecocks standout is currently averaging 5.0 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 14.6 minutes per contest.
PaoPao is no star, but she's expected to continue fulfilling her role for the Dream moving forward. The change in footwear marks a fresh start for her as PaoPao looks to move on from the Mitchell moment.
