As New England Patriots QB Drake Maye prepares for the biggest game of his life, he's taking some extra time to thank the special people who helped him get here.
Ahead of Super Bowl LX, Maye took some time at his press conference to thank his parents, and his mom in particular, for putting him in the position to get to where he is now.
“She’s been there every step of the way,” Maye said on Monday. “I can’t thank her enough for how she’s raised us, including my dad.”

NFL fans have seen Maye's wife Ann Michael as one of the best and most supportive wives in the league for the past couple of years now. But this was one of the rare instances where the spotlight was put on his parents and fans loved to see it:
"How can you not cheer for this dude?" one user on X asked.
"23 years old with this mindset btw," another said in praise.
"Mama Maye is a special lady," a third declared.

Drake Maye is now just five days away from the biggest game of his life and one of the biggest games in New England Patriots history. He might even be up for the NFL MVP award this weekend.
