For this build, I'm leaning heavily into the Seattle Seahawks for several reasons. Primarily, they have a better offense and tougher defense than the New England Patriots for this Super Bowl LX matchup. The other elements boil down to the fact that predicting which aerial assets will step up for the Patriots is more challenging, and I am going all in on the Sam Darnold redemption arc.
When it comes down to a single-game focus in DFS action, platforms tend to utilize the "Showdown" style of contests, which means you have five flex players and a team captain whose fantasy points gain a 1.5x multiplier at a higher price.
This adds a layer of strategy that means you could have the highest-scoring players in your lineup but not in the right slots, or a player who otherwise wouldn't score enough to earn a starting spot ends up outdoing the flex guys because of the captain bonus.
I have assembled a daily fantasy sports (DFS) lineup build to put some extra cash in your pocket via DraftKings fantasy football contests for Super Bowl LX. In addition, I'll highlight several value buys who are not included in this lineup.
Note: DraftKings is my preferred DFS platform. They do not sponsor this content.
My Favorite DraftKings Fantasy Football Lineup for Super Bowl LX DFS
Captain: QB Sam Darnold, Seattle Seahawks ($16,200)
As I said in the intro, I'm banking on Darnold completing his career resurrection. That said, I don't know that I am entirely convinced it will happen, but the 1.5x multiplier tips the scales in his favor. You save a few bucks by positioning him over JSN here. If the Ohio State star is the focal point of New England's defensive game-planning, Darnold still remains in play for captain-level production by directing passes elsewhere.
FLEX: WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks ($11,600)
Given my expectations for a strong Darnold showing, it stands to reason Smith-Njigba is likely to benefit. Even if Darnold struggles overall, he's going to force passes JSN's direction, and starting the standout receiver allows you to keep pace with the field.
FLEX: PK Jason Myers, Seattle Seahawks ($5,400)
In the scenario where points are a premium, Myers becomes a fantasy asset. If you're of the belief this game will be more balanced and lower scoring than I am, feel free to make a lineup with Myers as the captain so you can spend up at skill positions.

FLEX: TE Hunter Henry, New England Patriots ($7,000)
Henry is the safest bet among Patriots skill players for a decent fantasy day, regardless of the game's outcome. Seattle has been comfortable with letting tight ends do their thing while keeping wideouts and running backs from killing them with regularity. The Seahawks were one of 10 teams in the regular season to allow TEs at least 1,000 yards, and only a quartet of defenses gave up more catches to the position.
FLEX: WR Cooper Kupp, Seattle Seahawks ($5,200)
The last two weeks are the best consecutive fantasy efforts of Kupp's otherwise underwhelming season. For Seattle, it couldn't have come at a finer time. For fantasy purposes, the question is whether he can ride the wave one more game. While I have my doubts, the cost of finding out is fair, and the Pats will do everything within reason to limit Smith-Njigba. Rashid Shaheed is a worthwhile pivot if you're inclined to gamble on fewer targets outproducing the plodding Kupp.
FLEX: D/ST Seattle Seahawks ($4,400)
To round out my Seahawks-heavy build, this dominant defense has all the tools needed to make the Patriots one-dimensional and overly reliant on the passing game. That favors Seattle. I won't be even slightly surprised if New England struggles to score 10 points.
