Los Angeles Dodgers reporter Kirsten Watson isn't waiting until Opening Day to go viral.
Watson, a former reporter for the Los Angeles Rams, has been covering the Dodgers for Spectrum Sportsnet since February 2021. On Monday night, she covered a spring training matchup between the L.A. rivals.
As Watson was providing a pregame report for Sportsnet, she managed to perfectly execute a no-look fist bump. This brief exchange between her and an unidentified member of the Dodgers became a viral social media clip.
While some MLB fans are unfamiliar with Watson, it's very evident that people in Los Angeles appreciate her work.
"Kirsten Watson is the GOAT, we’re lucky to have her," a Dodgers fan wrote on social media.
"After weeks of Rosenthal and Verducci, we get to see the best on-field commentator in the business," a second fan commented.
"That’s a championship reporter right there," another fan said.
Dodgers aiming for a three-peat.
The Dodgers are hoping to become just the third franchise in MLB history to successfully win at least three straight World Series titles.
The New York Yankees have managed to pull off a three-peat multiple times. Thee Oakland Athletes, meanwhile, won three consecutive championships from 1972-74.
We'll see if the Dodgers can continue their dominance over the rest of the MLB.
