Mookie Betts and the Los Angeles Dodgers are entering the 2026 MLB season looking to become the first team to win three straight World Series titles since the New York Yankees (1998-2000). With free agent additions such as outfielder Kyle Tucker and relief pitcher Edwin Diaz, the Dodgers are poised for another deep postseason run.
The team will once again rely on several of its long-time veterans, such as Betts. Last season, the eight-time All-Star didn't live up to usual expectations, posting a .732 OPS (career-low), 152 hits, 20 home runs, 82 RBIs and eight stolen bases in 150 games.

However, with plans of chasing down just the fifth three-peat in MLB history, Betts is still regarded as one of the top players in baseball. Playing for the Dodgers, his personal brand and popularity continue to grow.
The 33-year-old has been at the forefront of several exciting off-field opportunities. On Tuesday, Betts announced a collaboration with DITA-Lancier, introducing two brand-new sunglasses frames.
"DITA-Lancier x Mookie Betts introduces two new frames handcrafted in Japan for athletes and everyday life," Betts wrote via an Instagram post. "Built with the same mindset Betts brings to the game—precision, focus, and no compromises—these frames merge advanced sport technology with meticulous craftsmanship."
"LSA-448 Shield delivers aerodynamic coverage and uncompromising functionality.
LSA-449 Navigator reinterprets the classic navigator silhouette with technical innovation and refined detailing."
Throughout his career, Betts has capitalized on securing partnerships with major brands. Outside of DITA-Lancier, he's revealed deals with Airbnb, Corona USA, All Star Pieces, Tequila Providencia and CoreImpact.
Originally beginning his career with the Boston Red Sox, he has carved out a legendary resume over the past 12 seasons. That included four World Series titles, six Gold Glove awards, seven Silver Sluggers and being named the 2018 AL MVP.
Betts will look to add even more hardware in 2026. He and the Dodgers start things off on Thursday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. First pitch is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET at Dodger Stadium.
