Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Mookie Betts has turned his season around in the month of June. After struggling throughout a majority of 2025 and the first two months of this season, he has not only shown signs of life but has also shown he has the ability to be a top hitter in baseball once again.
Over his last 11 games, the 33-year-old has posted a .383 batting average, .420 on-base percentage, 1.122 OPS, four home runs and 10 RBIs.
Unfortunately, Betts missed Los Angeles' series finale against the Athletics with a right wrist injury. However, the expectation is that he will be able to return during the weekend four-game set against division rival San Diego Padres.

Ahead of the series opener with San Diego, Betts took to Instagram to reveal his latest off-field move. As one of the most accomplished players of his generation, a former MVP, four-time World Series champion and eight-time All-Star, Betts is naturally one of the faces of the league.
He has used his influence to make an impact off the field for fans, routinely making videos documenting his life and hosting the show On Base With Mookie Betts, where he interviews players around the game. He has also been a brand ambassador, frequently landing deals with companies to promote products.
His latest partnership comes with the brand Native, a personal care brand that focuses on creating clean products, particularly with their newest Well-Crafted collection that uses natural ingredients.
Betts has become one of the faces of the collection and shared a post about it earlier this week. "Change is good. And it smells even better. @Native #NativeWell-Crafted," the caption read.
As Betts looks to get past his minor injury and return to the field, his influence off of it remains as strong as ever.
