Diego Pavia’s football career appears to be over.
The former Heisman Trophy finalist and Vanderbilt Commodores star had a brief stint in the National Football League. He was part of the Baltimore Ravens after going undrafted. Pavia signed with the Ravens in late April, before getting waived in July. He has yet to be signed by another NFL franchise.
Pavia, 24, appears to be comfortable making a serious career pivot. He’s now turning his attention toward content creation and streaming – and he’s doing it in a pretty interesting way.
He’s become a viral streamer.

In a viral clip, Pavia and a friend were seen interacting with a mom-daughter duo, having some fun in the content world.
The former college football star has been showing an interest in getting more involved in streaming and online videos.
“Looking for a streamer camera guy… hit me up,” Pavia wrote to his Instagram followers earlier this month.
In another post, he shared: “Should I start streaming??”
Pavia appears to be taking it seriously – for now
Pavia appears to be diving headfirst into the content-creation game.
“At first, it seemed like Pavia was just having fun with the fans by throwing random ideas about his future. For instance, in one of his Snapchat posts, he hinted at a chance of streaming the Rio Grande Rivalry, the iconic rivalry between the New Mexico Lobos and the New Mexico State Aggies, his alma mater. However, it was not the only thing on his checklist,” Essentially Sports wrote.
Pavia has hinted at doing something with the WWE, too.
Of course, there’s always the option to return to football, particularly in the Canadian Football League, where the Winnipeg Blue Bombers hold his exclusive negotiating rights.
For now, though, Pavia appears to be all-in on streaming.
