A sports radio host and reporter believes that Dianna Russini could take down "half" of the industry with her, if she decided to go all-in following the scandal.
Russini, who is married with two children, has been spotted on multiple occasions with NFL head coach Mike Vrabel. Page Six published photos of Russini and Vrabel hanging at an adults-only resort in Arizona earlier this year. The photos showed Russini and Vrabel hugging, holding hands and spending time in the hot tub. While Russini and Vrabel initially downplayed the photos, further reports came out, revealing that this was far from their first rendezvous.
Vrabel has since apologized for his behavior and went on a marriage retreat with his wife - with whom he shares two children - during the NFL Draft. Russini, meanwhile, stood by her behavior, at least in her resignation letter.

Russini, who stepped down from her position last month, maintained her journalistic integrity in her letter to The Athletic.
“Over a career spanning more than fifteen years in sports journalism — at NBC, ESPN, and The Athletic — I have built a body of work I am proud of. I have broken stories, earned the trust of sources across the league, and been guided by the highest standards of professional conduct. That record speaks for itself," she wrote.
“I remain grateful to The Athletic and for the extraordinary colleagues with whom I have worked there, for the platform it provided, and for the support you showed me during this difficult time. I wish you nothing but continued success.”
One reporter thinks Russini could 'take down' a lot of others in the industry
Nikki Gist, a New Jersey sports reporter and the co-host of The Uprights & Hot Takes Hard Lines, believes that Russini has a move to make.
"Just waiting for that Dianna Russini tell-all where she decides to just go for broke and take half the industry down with her 👀," she wrote on X.
She added: "She would be laughing all the way to the bank. And not just her. I said half the industry for a reason."
Russini has yet to break her silence on the controversy. It's unclear when - or if - she will. But many are waiting for her to tell her side of everything.
