On Thursday, Joe Gibbs Racing dropped a bombshell when the organization filed a lawsuit against former crew chief and, more recently, competition director Chris Gabehart. Denny Hamlin, who worked closely with Gabehart for years, didn't have any words but found a way to respond anyway.
It is no secret that Denny Hamlin gets itchy fingers on social media. Sometimes, he just can't help but chime in. He even had to hold back a bit throughout the antitrust lawsuit last year, under advice from legal counsel.
With the news out yesterday that Joe Gibbs Racing is suing Chris Gabehart for upward of $8,000,000 in damages and fees, Hamlin had one reaction. A reaction GIF, that is, specifically, one of former NASCAR driver and current social media darling, Kenny Wallace.

Denny Hamlin has already had his fair share of NASCOURT in the last two years. It remains to be seen if he will have any involvement in this lawsuit.
Joe Gibbs Racing has accused Chris Gabehart of attempting to steal setup information, financial details (including driver salaries and compensation), and other "trade secrets" to give to Cup Series rival, Spire Motorsports.
JGR alleges that Gabehart wanted to have greater control over the Cup Series program. After failing to come to an agreement on that provision, the two sides went their separate ways. It has long been rumored that Spire Motorsports is his ultimate destination. This lawsuit might complicate things further.
For now, Denny Hamlin is sitting back and taking in the show. Besides, he's got a race this weekend to try and win.
