Deion Sanders remains confident in his abilities at the University of Colorado in Boulder.
Colorado dropped to a disappointing 2-2 on the season on Saturday. The Buffaloes fell to Baylor, 23-13, on the road. Colorado was coming off a tough loss at Northwestern.
It doesn’t get any easier for Colorado moving forward, either.
The Buffaloes have home games against Texas Tech and Utah in the next few weeks. Both the Red Raiders and the Utes are currently ranked inside of the Top 25. The Buffaloes will be the underdogs in those games.

But while the Buffaloes have been struggling under Coach Prime, the head coach remains confident in his team.
In fact, Deion Sanders believes that his team is much better than its .500 record would actually indicate.
Deion Sanders confident in Colorado’s ability moving forward
Deion Sanders believes that Colorado is better than its opponents, but it’s not showing up on the scoreboard.
“We’re better than this. It seems as though we’re better than our opponents, but the score does not dictate that. And that’s the fascinating thing, we’ve got to find out why,” Sanders said after Colorado’s 23-13 loss at Baylor.
Colorado has struggled on offense, especially at the quarterback position. Julian Lewis was a highly-touted recruit coming out of high school, but he hasn’t performed well. He was benched on Saturday. Lewis was 11-for-16 for 75 yards when he was benched.
The Buffaloes will need to get much better production from the quarterback position moving forward, if they’re going to improve record-wise.
